Nice one! Lovely condition and good to see it’s all matching.
Clean is an understatement. Great condition!
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

Very nice and great find. Not sure if I've seen one like that before.
A really nice example.

Unusual to see the smaller version with the reinforcing felt - that's usually relegated to the larger capacity ones the Sanitater and Gebirgs used?
( JP may correct me but that's my understanding unless HJ were different )

Hey Dan,
Hope all is well down under. It could be also that this smaller capacity canteen was used by the Hitler Youth also but given the later production date of 1943 also could be for use by the Wehrmachtshelferinnen (transl. Female Wehrmacht helpers), participating in tasks such as:
telephone, telegraph and transmission operators, administrative clerks, typists and messengers, operators of listening equipment, in anti-aircraft defense, operating projectors for anti-aircraft defense, employees within meteorology services, and auxiliary civil defense personnel volunteer nurses in military health service (similar to the role of women working with the German Red Cross or other voluntary organizations).
I can’t be certain but it could be that youth and ladies used this model. See what JP and others as well might have thoughts on. Here is thread to my 1940 RZM marked small capacity model with the heavier felt: HJ Canteen
