    I think this goes inside the storage container and the Head part of the shell sits in this holder

    Fantastic, thank you gents. Tiger round fuse tin then, cool! That website is great. I was struggling to find any information on this piece, it came together with the one below... am i correct in thinking this is also a fuse protector tin?

    Yea for the Kwk40 7,5cm , quite fortunate that you have the wooden piece at the bottom
