    Hi, Unfortunately I don't have pictures of it ( as it was 25yrs ago ) but I once had a Gas Mask canister without loops for straps! Seeing that the loops are spot welded on and the tin would be damaged if they were pried off, it looked like they were never fitted. A collector at the time said it was a vehicle one, that snapped into a holder, hence no need for stirrups. In all other respects it was the same as the 'D' marked standard issue. Anyone heard or seen one like this?
