Year 1943 was printed on both boxes also I took pictures as well but they are not so good quality. First – big one – looks like ammo box for tanks as there are letters PN but I am not sure. Small one possibly is for mines.

Do you have pictures of the paper of the first picture.
Perhaps it's a French box used by Germans.

I found these boxes in my grandmothers shed in Latvia. She found them when Germans left the area where she use to live and she used them as storage for items. Maybe this will help. I found them and washed them, asked dad to put them in dry storage.
