As far as value/pricing goes, I haven't seen any significant difference between WW1 and WW2 versions... Around $125 is about average for such an unmarked set-up, in my opinion...

Neither carrier nor shovel are WWII german military. Postwar is my guess for the carrier. For the shovel, more photos are needed.

Hi Pierre, I was able to find limited info on the post WW2 BAT company, but unfortunately no details about the Feldspatten production except photos of the rivets & the welded models with the BAT logo. With the fall of the Wall many documents & information vanished for ever.

Your shovel is painted & rusted, without stamping seen it's very hard to identify. So many models look alike, it's all about details, details.

Thank you again. Seller says no visible markings are seen ( maybe like you say new painting and markings covered or never had markings ) and indeed i noticed that many look similar
It's a NVA set. So far very cheap and unpopular at the collectors market...
The manufacturer was marked by a gone sticker on the blade.
