Hello again,
I'm sure this stick grenade is a repro, but can anyone tell me how to distinguish it from a genuine one, bearing in mind that I've never had the opportunity to examine a real one?
This may be an unanswerable question but any tips would be much appreciated.

please post a pic from the head , (inside )
Hello Pierre,
Are these pictures of any help?
Best regards,
navyman.
first point , the form of the wood handle is not correct , look the real on this thread
second point , the maker mark on the top of grenade RR564 ,i think the real maker is write ЯR not RR
third point , the white ball is to big , the original is flat (form)
Look the example of Bill Grist : Prewar German M-24 'Stick' Grenade
look the mark ЯR on the top of grenade ЯR not RR
Other example of Bill , the late model : Late War 'Potato Masher' 1944
Hi Guy, it is a repro. They are made in India. I suspect it came from Worldwide Arms? They had them made. They sold like "hot cakes" when they first hit the market about 10 years ago.
Cheers, Ade.
Thanks both,
I can now see the difference, and Ade, yes it came from WWA about five years ago.
Cheers,
navyman.
