    Fireman ? post wwII, I remember such bots in the 70's.

    These boots were in use by the Bundeswehr and Luftwaffe. So postwar. Inside you can see the marks.
    I have the exact same pair. Mine is a 44 size.

    41 = size
    5 = width
    6 = month
    63 or 67 = year (can't see it very clear)
    1 or 13 = company code/lot nbr. (can't see it very clear aswell).

    Yep BW I had a pair in the late 70's marked inside to BW unit I can't remember if ground troops or airforce. timothy

    Well logically then BW = Bundeswehr = Groundtroops.

    I would assume so yes. However there was different pieces of gear used by the Luftwaffe (Post War) in the BW and overall post war forces. timothy
