Classic petrol 'Jerrycan' made by Eisenwerke Muller of Schwelm in 1943. I like the 'been there, done that' battered look with original Gelb paint. Muller were one of the earliest Jerrycan manufacturers and also the largest. 1943 was the last year that the 'Schwelm' factory location was stamped ; changing to the code 'fcx' in 1944.
Here's an item from my own collection - a Muller factory coathanger 'liberated' at the end of WW2....

I've got a couple of nice examples- one Kraftstoff, one Wasser; the Kraftstoff is typical RAL7028 Dunkelgelb, but the Wasser one is different- I have a number of different items done in RAL7028, in varying shades, but the colour of this Wasserkanister is rather more pinkish tan that I wonder if might actually be RAL8020 Sandgelb... ?
