Late war gas mask straps?

Hey Guys, these 2 long gas mask straps - are they late war types? The stitching and the metal parts seems to be war-time...

I have seen weaves that are coarser than the "normal" type found but not as coarse as the BW type ( sort of a medium weave )
This to me looks like an example of that .....
