MG34/42 Fortress Ammo Can

I just picked this up the other day. I was wondering of someone could give me more information on it? For example does it have original colors or markings?
I had talked briefly with Folke Myrvang and he mentioned that he has seen them in green before. I didn't get a chance to ask more.

Since your showing fortress setups.. I saw this one which does show the rebuilt setup for the MG34. Pretty remarkable/sweet rebuild. In his photos, it does show the fortress can.

One thing I should point out is that I believe these had the right side feed tray/paw setup. I don't see many of those for sale.

BTW thanks for the replies.

I was wondering if it was repainted since the limited few fortress ammo cans I could find photos of all have some big distinct letters telling where it was used. Mine I can't really read.

It looks like it was original paint.. primer red color looks about right and the green seem to match other cans. Just the outer lettering is wrong. Any case I feel fortunate enough to own one of these.
