Any ideas folks; do you think these are original?
There don't appear to be any markings on the leather loops to the rear. That doesn't discount them, but it is something you'd expect to see on original pouches. The mismatched colours of the flaps on the right pouch could be a field repair. Sorry I'm not able to help more, as field gear isn't one of my strong suits, but do be aware that postwar versions of these pouches do exist which look almost identical to wartime ones. Unless you know your onions it can be very difficult to tell them apart.
Regards, B.B.
I would pass on them.
The "H" shaped stitching to the leather retaining loops is not a good sign.
Cheers, Ade.

I think they are reproductions. Lots of reasons why, such as the amateur stitching and the position of the belt loops.
