The carrier itself is a nice original.
Manufacturer code "gut" with missing year 194?

I think it was stamped before the parts were sew together.
It reminds a little bit of a RB-number. So maybe a material declaration?

Material seems to be PRESTOFF and so date is probably 1944? ( and so a RBN marking is also logical )

Makes sense that the material was supplied in larger rolls and then cut according to the pattern for the Klappspatentasche. Very nice find.
