Looks an awful lot like an American Rogers Bros. spoon, but I'll reserve judgement until Others see it.
hitmanius,
I believe this is a post war laser etched engraving. I can't tell by the photo if the SS runes are raised, but they look to be laser etched. I also presume that the stamped "6" is supposed to be a makers mark, which would not be shown normally on the front side of cutlery. Not a pattern design that I have seen used on any Third Reich cutlery...
I went through all four volumes of my Encyclopedia's of Third Reich Tableware by James A Yannes and I found nothing even remotely similar...
My thoughts: Pure Fantasy piece made to deceive the uneducated...
Best regards, stay safe

Hitmanius,
Normally I don't waid in on Third Reich items with my opinion. But probably like other collectors I have a side line. My spouse and I are ardent antique collectors and quasi dealers. I have to agree with Rakkasan187. Pure fantasy piece. SS Runes look out of place when compared to the overall appearance of the spoon. Runes are deep and distinct. Spoon overall is the quality of common tableware. In my opinion nothing any German manufacturer would produce given their high standards of quality control. I'd place it in the category of SS Pantograph knives and Eva Braun's original hair brush. See a couple of each every year at flea markets here in the states.

Hello to all. Thank you for your opinions.
It just confirmed what I thought about.
No maker marks should be the first red flag for this type of cutlery.
Mine is not a formal pattern but instead is a piece from the SS
officer school at Bad Tolz. I also have a photo of a piece from the SS
school at Braunscheig.
