Unknown WWII German Box

Article about: I was hoping someone would be able to tell me what this box used to say and what it is for. I have tried google and every combination of the letter that can be read without any luck. Thanks

    It's part of a military chemical warfare testing kit.

    Chemical warfare testing or death camp testing when they used CO as the gas is more likely. Interesting item but could be very creepy as well. They tested the air prior to entering after ventilation.
