I believe this is a reproduction. Period original Printed Volksturm armbands should have a reverse image on the inside, not plain white..
But I am willing to concede if someone has a period original with the interior all white with no reverse mirror image of the outer printing...
Something just doesn't look right about the inside...
Not one I would want in my collection

Michael,
I could be wrong, I have never seen one like this but as the late Bob Coleman stated, that since there were many makers of the VS armbands there were also variations, so I too would like to hear and see some other period examples like this one...
Best regards, stay safe

Agree. These were produced by many firms. I've seen crap quality and some nice quality examples.
Would be good to hear from others. I welcome being wrong/corrected.
My one example is similar to the more common style with the thinner material and ink bleed through.

Fabric looks a bit thick (different from the most common ones) therefore not showing the reverse image on the inside. Let's wait for other opinions.
