The BEUTEWAFFE concept I have found a lot of it.(empty shells ) Belgian france poland dutch russian. The germans used all this and a lot too.
Use of captured weapons by the German Wehrmacht

Even before the outbreak of World War II in 1939, the Heereswaffenamt introduced a system to systematically record data on all known foreign weapons and other military equipment (e.g. motor vehicles). These were collected in a loose-leaf collection titled Identity Sheets for Foreign Equipment. This collection, which was divided into a total of 14 volumes, was continuously updated when new weapons and equipment fell into German hands.

Each weapon and each device was assigned a third-party device number. This usually consisted of the German name of the respective object, a (mostly three-digit) number and a lowercase letter in brackets that referred to the country of origin. [3]

    Teck,

"Don't want to tell you how to do your Job or anything but seriously, "

Thanks youngster! Oddly enough when I started EOD, (well before you were born) Titanium Tetrachloride, WP and CASM were considered 'just smoke'. Indeed on my basic course we all had to stand in a cloud of WP smoke to ensure we knew what it smelt like. Do remember that until the mid 1960's Mustard agent was still used in training.

Now any more of your cheek sonny and It's early bed and no pocket money.

Vegetius I'll get to you later.
The Rest of you I said it was interesting. The french/moroccan Units also brought a lot of zweckentfremdet cannisters back to germany. The german Beuteindustrie started well before WW1 and they of course weren't the only ones
