I have a pair of jackboots I purchased a while back. I was wondering if these boots appear to be WW2 Era German? I know they are resoled and there are no markings inside the boots that I can see. Thanks for your help.

    Hello,
Sorry to say but they're not WWII german issue marching boots...
    Thanks

    Hello again,
in fact, your boots are the giveaway as they dont have anything right compared to WWII german issues ones...
Below you can see a pair of Reitstiefel (cavalry boots) that are at 99% identical to the Marschstiefel, except for the small leather tab placed at the rear for spurs...here hidden behind a red dot.
This is what you need to look for if you want an original pair of WWII german issue Marschstiefel...
    Thanks

Would you happen to know what type of boots these are?

They look like early West german Bundesgrenzschutz (borderguard) boots to me.
