This arrived yesterday amongst other things for my kit assembly. A Zeltbahn and a utility strap. The Zelt is almost in complete condition, only one small repair and vibrant colours to one side. I have looked for markings but cannot find any. The strap is marked and in good condition. Are these utility straps for Zelts or is there another type of straps?

Those straps are for zelts, there are longer ones for mess tins.
It will depend on the number of holes.

Nice Zelt

Just for reference a picture

Upper one is a normal equipment strap

Middle one is a mess tin strap (8 holes)

And lower one is the so called A-frame strap for mess tin
