The following photo is a combined weekends finds, 2x farm sales and an auction. The 2x plain green helmets were from the local auction, everything else from the 2x sales. The best find though has to be a non military item, it is the piece of "Nottingham Alabaster", dating from around 1450, these plaques were in churches from the 1450's in Medieval England, until the mid 1550's when they were to be destroyed by the order of King Edward VI (see link below), "The Adoration of the Magi", it is in worn condition and I think has been exposed to wind and rain at some time in its life, but an interesting find. Missing from the photo are 2x pairs of WW1 wire cutters, also found the same weekend. The two wheels are from Spitfire or Hurricane I think, seller said they would be perfect for making a sack truck with.
