Antique store finds

Article about: I had the itch to check out some antique stores that I hadn’t been to in awhile. I went to a total of three shops today and each one produced a decent amount of militaria. At the first two

I decided to thoroughly clean the belt today. It was VERY dirty. So dirty you couldn’t touch it without having your hands covered in grime. After wiping it with some warm water and just a tad bit of saddle soap, I’m happy to say it cleaned up nicely! I also carefully removed the old paracord that was added it to. It may have been added by a GI, but to me it made it look raggedy.

Thanks! I really like the painting too. The cashier was even
surprised when she saw how much it was. The tag stated it was WWI era, but I honestly have no idea if that’s correct or not.

Ugh.. you’re not lying. Hot and humid could be my middle name at this point!

My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

At least you guys have air conditioning! House builders in the UK haven't quite figured that particular invention out yet.
