Article about: Went to a local auction tonight and picked up WWII British uniform, some great WWI and WWII US paper work for the same soldier,a german fieldphone and a span am backpack . Gary.

    Looks like a quality haul. No junk there. That instrument incorporating a compass, thermometer and barometer in a compact case, just the thing to have with you for hiking in the Swiss alps I would think.
