Was lucky enough to get these 2 ammo boxes and the gas mask gifted to me by a buddy of mine. He lives in the small town next to mine. The big ammo box is from the towns 2cm flak and the feldhaubitze one is also from the town. Both were thrown into the wine yards after the war. The locals picked up the boxes and used them as tool boxes and flower pots.
The gas mask isn’t confirmed to be from the town as it also could be from a local soldier returning home I guess. I’m not sure if it’s possible to tell if the gas mask was military or civilian issued. The only thing missing is the filter.
