My tastes are more in line with Smitty's. I like some of the more obscure films.
I would like to add "The Last Full Measure" and "Don't Cry, It's Only Thunder"
    to the list.

I've said this before, I strongly believe that "Schindler's List" should be required
viewing in high school. If we for get the past, we are bound to repeat it.

I was addicted to the "Hokey-Pokey" but I've turned
    myself around.

This is also one of my favourite's, it's the film that sparked my interest in EK's and I've never looked back.

A Walk In The Sun is my favourite war movie.
What I like is the focus, not so much on the fighting but on individuals trying to deal with the unbearable, sometimes managing and sometimes not. You aren't told any more than the characters are and it is a messy, bewildering situation with mistakes and confusion, which I imagine war must be like.

"Come And See". It feels more like a horror film to me than any other movie. Not sure if it was mentioned anywhere else in this thread thus far but definitely worth being checked out.

Anyone here a fan of the "Kingsman" movies?
My wife is a big fan so today I took her to see "The King's Man" and as a ww1
history buff, I found it to be completely entertaining and I was amazed at how
well they had done their history on the uniforms, medals and awards that were
    shown.

One of my favorites that isn’t mentioned much is Decision Before Dawn. A 1951 spy movie full of origional German ww2 uniforms, Camo, headgear, wrappers, crushers, MP44s, Gestapo and intrigue. One can spot Camo parkas and smocks in the background to. The entire movie is on YouTube. Bill
