Do you ever try it on?

Why on earth would you even try to see if a uniform fits your current size.

The items are almost 100 years old. They are not even near what they used to be in strength or size back in the day so...

I´ve tried on a few helmets... and my WW2 Waffenrock, which suprsingly fits me, aswell as my Pre WW1 Prussian Coat, that one fits as if it was tailormade for me.

No, you ain't the only one, I do always try on my uniforms too. Some fit, some don't. This NSDAP Kreisleiter uniform fits me perfectly. Only the boots and gloves are unfortunately a bit too small.

Ike jackets are very tough, I've never had any issues with them. I even wear an unmarked 1945 dated jacket to church on sundays.


It's wool items you have to watch and use common sense with.
