Gravy Boat

Can any one tell me about a gravy boat. It is painted with dogwood flowers and signed R Ryal. On the bottom the letters c.s.q.m.c w-421-qm-3938 11-14-40
these letters are in blue. There is also a date 11-20-53 in red. Ant information you have will be appreciated.
