A couple more images - The Canadian Airborne wore U.S. Airborne kit when training in the U.S., these were taken in 1945 and it's interesting to note that they were using the Sten Mk2
It was the Sten that gave it away of course. For those that might not know, the Canadians first trained at Ft. Benning, hence the US airborne uniform.

Is the one in the foreground a Mosin Nagant 91/30 with a VT scope and the one in the back ground a SVT 40 with a PU scope?
