An Excellent post Chris and a great video of learning especially for those who are misinformed and short sighted on the history of these symbols.

Mark Novak has a channel that makes Gunsmithing a joy to watch.
He works on a wide variety of firearms and his videos are a great example of a skilled and down to earth craftsman at work.

This suggestion is a little different, this channel does not cover the modern time period. However I’m sure anyone who even has a remote interest in history will enjoy these podcasts.
Truly some of the best content I’ve ever come across on YouTube. I cannot overstate how good these are. If anyone does listen to one please let me know. I’ve been trying to get friends and family to listen to them for a long time but to no avail.

    Cheers,
