That was well worth watching.
Thanks Rene.

Not a bube tube vid but I watched the film and it's great, you all know how to find it!?!
For anyone interested in the final days of WW2 in Germany and post war survival, this German Public Broadcast channel has a lot of great footage over many videos.
This one is just a short example but some uncommon content.
They do add some annoying sound effects for "atmosphere",but lots of film I have not seen before.
Schwalm-Eder-Kreis | 1945 und ich | Archivmaterial - YouTube
Wish I was there!
a Channel that's interesting.
Dark Skies - YouTube
Fritzlar airfield Germany May 1945 (HD colour footage) - YouTube
Lots of interesting stuff packed into this short film clip, and whoever was the "Director" took the project pretty seriously from their choice of shots and editing.
A helpful member with camera experience might let us know if they pulled it off ok?
It's always great to see what comes up on this thread.
Thanks!
MilitariaReview has been mentioned before but this is an interesting one with an interview with former member Doug Buhler regarding the Champagne SS decal.

I have watched the first two.
As I said elsewhere -
Doug is the best, I miss him on this forum and in the hobby. A huge loss in him stepping away, but who could blame him. I'm quite sure he's enjoying himself and living large these days.
Cheers
