It was something I was unaware of.
Never got taught that one in Boot camp Marine Corps history class!! We were in the Pacific not the ETO. But apparently some Devil Dog was over there!!
and when they showed him in the John Wayne movie scenes. I was like Oh Yeah that guy!!
