Seeing as this seems to be to introduce myself, I might aswell start.....
Well first of all, my name's Danny, I'm a militaria collector, my intrests are mostly gas masks, and relics. My collection is rather small, I only have around 35 masks which can be viewed on my website: gasmasksuk.webs.com and I have a few relic's, a German G98, a Mills Bomb Shell and a few other little bits and bobs, most of my relic collection was unfortunatly seized by the M.O.D due to concerns about some of the items I owned which were perfectly safe but their "expert" thought otherwise so all of it was destroyed. I look forward to speaking to you all and hopefully helping some of you out in the best way I can.

Hey all
I'm also new in her! great site this one.
Hello all
Fantastic forum here. I am in awe of the collections and the accumulated knowledge here. Amazing to see some of the battlefieldd digs also. Hats of to the experts!
I am very interested in militaria but not a collector per se.
I spend my free time travelling rather a lot, researching and visiting museums and battlefields.
After visiting battlefields from America to Russia for years, I recently undertook an outing with the metal detector along with a friend. This was a first for me.
Here is the result of that one trip (this is just some of the stuff):
I have recently been to Kubinka, but that is another story (and photobucket dump;-))
Welcome, are you from Estonia ?
regards
Paul

Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader

Paul and Nick, thanks for the welcome.
Paul, no I am not from Estonia, I hail from Denmark. Drove non-stop in two hour shifts from DK to Estonia and back over crappy roads. Had enough of driving for a few days after that trip, lol.
