Hi All,
I got this out of my loft yesterday (to show a mate today), it's not WW2 made but are props from the series Band of Brothers !
I was lucky enough to have been an extra on the series, 21 years ago, actually made it onto the screen (for about 3 seconds) in the Crossroads episode ! The helmet was what I wore in that episode, the rest ....the M42 suit & boots I purchased about a week after they finished filming, already then the uniforms & equipment were being sold onto other film companies....believe it or not ! I rarely get these out, so thought, must take a picture to share with you all !
Stay safe all !

pretty neat Paul. Love it!
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated
My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them
"Don't tell me these are investments if you never intend to sell anything" (Quote: Wife)
Super!
Great, Paul.
Please, you have to send an image of the frame in which you appeared in the TV series. Not every day you can boast of having an actor friend !!

Santi
P.S. This forum is definitely full of great guys
Hi Santi/Guys,
Glad you liked the post, it was a great experience & I got paid for it, some of the proceeds of my earnings (I worked 6/7 days all in) I put toward an early Heer M35 Overpaint !
Have just dug out my DVD boxset & took a photo of my scene, I'm on for 9 seconds, episode 5, Crossroads, 23 mins 11 secs to 23 mins 20 secs, I'm the first US soldier (there's another guy following me), to walk from left to right, between the 2 actors Just to make you laugh, we shot the scene about 10/12 times, the 2 guys lifting up the stretcher, joked what an easy task we had, and the stretcher casualty had the easiest task....was quite funny at the time !
Regards
Paul
