US dress greens

I recently picked up a US Army Green Dress Jacket , it's made in 1957.
The reason I bought it was, it had a nice 18th Airborne patch (possible WWII made).
My question is whether the jacket is collectable or should I just remove the patch.
The jacket is in ok condition, it has a couple moth holes.
Just looking for opinions, thanks for your time.

The jacket holds mostly historical value.

It's also a very small size (37 S) so I think I'll strip it.
