It is impossible to communicate with Catawiki,
and I got this message today when I wanted to sell a Finnish ring from World War II

Would be happy to help you answer that. Most people in this Hobby don't realize it is a violation of MasterCard and Visa policy to accept payments for anything Nazi Related or to German Militaria from WW2. It is also a violation of Paypal's terms of fair use and service.

The people you see offering PayPal are those that have not been caught yet or reported on. Other merchants that you see offering credit card must do so through third party processors located offshore that allow prohibited transactions such as this and pornography at higher rates.

Catawiki has been served notice saying if they continue to sell these prohibited items they will be banned for life. I have copy pasted PaypaL policy that clearly shows a ban on all Nazi , German war related goods. all this.

All dealers now are moving towards bank transfers only.

Items that appear to be sold to fund or that imply or promote support for membership in the Irish Republican Army (IRA) or other prohibited organizations under U.K. law.
