Yeah, I wasn't sure how to call it.

I bought a couple of holders from Air-Tites : "Air-Tite Direct Fit Coin Holders are made of Acrylic with a non-yellowing agent, and contain no PVC to damage your coins. These coin capsules are hard, crystal clear, and consist of two pieces that snap together providing superior long-term protection for your entire coin collection. "

Ah! That will work well too,but may be abit more difficult to mount in your frame. I was under, for some reason, the idea that you were flat framing it!(no idea where I got That idea from! lol) But, in any case, this should look fine Good luck and post a photo when you're done!

No worries. I'm working on a shadow box so depth is no issue. I'll still be using double sided tape to mount it, but if it damages anything, it's going to be the coin holder, not the medal itself.

I'll definitely post a picture when the whole shadowbox is done, but it's going to take a few more weeks. Always having to wait for sellers to ship and then for shipping to actually get done is taking so much time haha. And FedEx loosing my package really screwed me over.

Just a quick update. I received the Air-Tites (I ordered a couple of sizes etc. since the shipping alone is like 600% the cost of the actual product), and here's the coin all safe and secure :

"Ours the next 12 years then KAPUTT!" would have been more appropriate...

Hahaha, this is pretty much what I think everytime I see it. It should be called the Ironic Medal.
