A very good video and good principles to live by. It is strange that the conservation principles on firearms does not apply to other items. Most folks seem to follow 'Leave it alone'. I hate rust and rust is not patina, IMHO. If it did not have rust when it left the factory or some speckles of rust from it use during the war, it clearly does not belong on the item. 70+ years of poor storage does not contribute to the history of the item in the vast majority of cases.
