So I want to bring a little life back to the leather of the liner on this Dutch KNIL I picked up a few weeks ago. Not looking to make it look like new, in fact I don't think most of the liner needs much more than a good cleaning. My biggest concern is the neck flap, sure would like to make it plyable again. Looking for a little guidance and suggestions on how to do so with out destroying the leather. It is not dry rotted, it's just stiff.
I've read anough horror stories that I'm almost thinking to leave it alone but I thought I'd see what folks have to say. Here are some photos of the liner.
