    Yes, you can.
    It will only do good things for you.
    I use it on almost all of my blades.

    So, all I need to do is to rub a bit of the wax on the item, and that's it? it won't rust nor oxidize?

    Use it sparingly, a little goes a long way, and then rub it down with a soft cloth.

    I tend to use Pre Lim too.

    Yes.
    Apparently, it works on wood, and many other materials as well, some even say leather.
    Although I use it mostly for metals.

    Well, I'll go and buy one then. I've got a few helmets that are waiting to be covered with wax
