Vmf petty officer's cap?
I got it from an auction site a few years ago.
According to the description on the site below, it is a Petty Officer's cap that was used for a short time in the Soviet Navy.
Under the Red Star - Navy Caps.
But I'm not such an avid hobbyist, so I don't know if it's authentic.
I don't know if this control cap is authentic, how many years it was used and what rank of soldier it was. I don't know if it is. Please tell me.
I am not an English speaker and I use a translator. Please forgive me if the text is unnatural.

From my understanding the twill wool crowns came in post 69 for the Navy? Which would fit with the size of the crown to me. And the chinstrap certainly looks much later.
Do you have a photo of the inside at all?

Here's a picture of the inside

No date to be deciphered there.
My opinion is that it's a 70s cap that someone has replaced the Officer's crest with a star, someone may know better than me though.
Does look good with the star though, nice display piece .

Just did some further research and the twill crowns came in in the early 60s, so could very well be right.
So disregard my previous post!
