Many thanks Sleepwalker on sharing your Kampfgruppen covers of which i never realised there were so many models types but with your informative guides i will look over my covers including the rain pattern cover to see which model type i actual have ,thanks also for sharing your very nice traffic regulators cover which fits your M56 stahlhelm perfectly ,my example of the traffic regulators is a very tight fit and hard to keep in position so wonder if it was meant for the Polish Wz 63 perhaps

Welcome back everyone,
Covers are essential to composite helmets. Composite helmets improved the head security big time but their performance can be diminished by the sun, the rain to name a few, themselves must be protected in a few ways, the humble cover is one of them! Enjoy!
For those nostalgic M1 folks, let see it one last time
Transition to Kevlar done here. In real time it spread over 7 years. This cover is interesting because the PVT second class once promoted to PVT first class simply modified his rank with a felt Marker!
One of my favourite, the six-colour desert pattern known as the "chocolate chip" pattern was mainly seen from 1981 to 1991.
Followed by the new 3-color (desert) pattern released in 1989 & mass issued in1991.
This 2 side cover is adapted for communication equipment (back flap).
It's woodland side.
Next one is the digital Universal Camouflage Pattern UCP (2004/2019).
The USAF digital Tiger Stripe Pattern was in service from 2011 up to 2021.
Multicam pattern.
Multicam "jungle" pattern.
Desert tiger pattern. Seen not to long ago in a previous post... So cool, couldn't resist to post again!
Since I collect helmets only up to their first composite, feel free to show your covers and fill the gap of my collection, what you see is what I have, not even one MARPAT! Hum!.. for now. Thanks

Hi everyone, let me present you two Swedish, one Lithuanian & one Dutch cover.
The Swedish M60 cover was created for multi usages, side flaps could be lowered if necessary, same with the visor. Camouflage could be inserted into the top net. Swedish design at is best!
The modernized M60 version: the Hjälmdok 90 & it's plain version.
Lithuanian current M05 misko (forest) pattern was adopted in 2002.
Dutch DPM inspired cover for the M53 helmet in service until the mid 90s.
See you next time.
