The cover in WW2 style are "movie props" or WW2 reproduktion in my opinion. I try to find informations from old BGS members or period pictures. But no photo or informations about this.
Only the hoods are know.
The net from you first post is a later, bleached version. Normally they are green/blue like you second net you shown.

I have received - not all - but some of the references shown through contacts with former BGS members.
The camouflage cover was never a standard piece of BGS equipment. All known covers are fabrications of individual barracks cutters.
That's why I chose one to show, which still has the green rivets of the BGS berets.
It is therefore difficult to distinguish a copy as a WW2 repro from a tailor-made piece.
Only a contemporary picture would help as a fact. So far I haven't found any meaningful ones... only very blurry ones. Otherwise, opinion stands against opinion, statement against statement.
I know the film props from Sturm KG. They are worked differently and are not made of such materials.
