    This photo was taken probably in the early 1980s in Hungary, by that time all M1950 helmets were in storage, and were only used for training exercises. These newly drafted solders are probably are marching for the training field - some have a small circle painted on their helmets, to differentiate themselves: (for exmpl.) marked helmets are defending a position (maybe a hill or a bunker), non-marked helmets are "attacking".
