I'd get it myself but I'm trying exercise some restraint and stick to 60s/70s
I couldn't let it go after I did some reading. Brown beret for the Golani Brigade, this colour was first issued in 1976, the badge type on this beret puts it at late 70s.

I think the red plastic parts are safety plugs for some type of ordinance

    No line or stamps

It’s not a beret but there is nowhere else to post it and probably not much interest to warrant a single post. They are not that common so here it is, senior officers cap probably from the 60s, badged for the Medical Corps.

One more 1960s /70s Engineering Corps.

The stamp inside is too faint to read, the badge backing is an Ascot cigarette packet, apparently they went out of business in 1971

One more for this thread, 1960s IDF Military Police cap. These are worn by all ranks, the clear difference between this and the officer caps is the cloth covered peak.

A couple more to add to this post.
This is hat is somewhat iconic in Israel as it is goes back to the days of the pre-State Palmach night squads, although it was still seen in use in the Sinai campaign of 1956.

Known as a ‘Kova Gerev’ or sock hat, it’s based on the British cap comforter, it is locally made, differs in that it is not sewn together at both ends and is only 15 inches long so doesn’t double as a short scarf.

Not that easy to find at a reasonable price, this one has signs of use and repair or ‘character’ as we tend to term things that could be in better condition.

Senior offices cap later than the one shown earlier, probably late 60s with Infantry Corps badge.

Not really worn that much and don’t differ as the ranks get higher.

I think replaced by the beret in the 1970s, or at least photos from the Yom Kippur war show little or no use of this type of cap.
