One more for HSAT for the pile, I should stop buying them but they are hard to resist.
It’s not a stunning example but its hard to find them with the original BMB liner and I managed to get it for a reasonable price.
It’s been repainted, an unusual green for the IDF, I don’t have any doubts about it, it was done some time ago and probably had a cover on it during its service.
The liner is not in great shape, some of the sorbo rubber is like coal and fragile. It's been refitted with the securing bolts reversed.
It had MkII cruciform pad screwed to the crown of the shell, but that’s perished.
Chinstrap is the original British pattern with BMB 1943 stamp.
