Steve, I do own two helmets of the Bereitschaftspolizei of the Hansestadt Hamburg.

At a first glance, both of them are helmets of the BGS.
Both of them showin´ a textured / napped "BGS -Green" finish, but, the decals on both sides of both helmets say, it´s Police actually.

Do you think that they may have been repurposed, or just that the information on different textures is wrong?

IMO the decals are corresponding to both of them helmets.
