Where was this M1 modified?

Article about: I just picked this one up. Fixed chinstrap loops and front seam and with an almost mint condition Firestone liner. I know it's modified and re-issued, but by whom? It had a danish M48 helmet

    I just picked this one up. Fixed chinstrap loops and front seam and with an almost mint condition Firestone liner.

    I know it's modified and re-issued, but by whom? It had a danish M48 helmet net, so Danish would be the obvious answer. But I've never seen a Danish chinstrap with two rivets - All the other ones I've seen has been with the original bar-tacked straps, with one big rivet, or with the buckle type fastening.

    Anyone?
