Default 1905 to 1912 Imperial Russian Army Artillery and Calvary

    Colleagues,

I'm researching my Polish ancestry and came across these wonderful pictures of my great grandfather. He was born and raised in a small Polish village of Russian Poland which is modern day Belarus. The towns if Lida, Iwje and Lipnisky would have been the general area in the districts of Grodno, Vilinus or Ashmyany. He was born in 1888 and emigrated to the US in 1913. The belt buckles are two-headed eagles with the artillery barrels in their feet, obviously Imperial Russian Army. I have also found information that indicated he served in calvary and artillery units.

Any help dating or further identifying would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers,

    -Larry
