This is a modern Bulgarian fake of excellent quality.

Apparently you bought this watch from a Bulgarian seller.

    Hello Alex,

Watches like yours were actually given as awards for shooting. Surprisingly large number were issued. Shooting competitions were hold at least once a year in every regiment (this is a regimental award), separately for officers an other ranks. Considering the number of troops in Imperial Russia, I would say tens of thousands were given away. It is not a rare award, and I have seen in an Antic shop in Stockholm several russian award watches at a time. Market price of watches in such condition as yours is hurdly over 700 euros, which makes manufacturing a fake of such a quality quite unprofitable.
I am not an expert, but your watch looks good to me. I'have checked several Pavel Bure watches, silver, golden and steel, and they look in details very similar to your watch. I post several pictures, hope it will help. I think it make sense to continue researches on your watch.Help with identification of pocket watch (reward for EXCELENT SHOOTING)Help with identification of pocket watch (reward for EXCELENT SHOOTING)Help with identification of pocket watch (reward for EXCELENT SHOOTING)Help with identification of pocket watch (reward for EXCELENT SHOOTING)Help with identification of pocket watch (reward for EXCELENT SHOOTING)Help with identification of pocket watch (reward for EXCELENT SHOOTING)Help with identification of pocket watch (reward for EXCELENT SHOOTING)
