    Default Fairly Large Japanese National Flag

    Hello everyone,

    I bought this cotton, two-piece flag several years ago and believe it to be WWII period, though no guarantee of course as it is the national flag still in use today. Its got the "smell" of age, however. It measures 6' 8" x 4' 7", and has indications of several repairs that were made to it. No markings are present. I think the corner reinforcement tabs are made of pigskin, but that's just a guess. Anyway, just thought that I'd post this. Thanks for taking a look.
