    Hello all,

This badge is quite heavy, size 95x37 mm, center medallion covered with hot enamel. No markings found.
My question is: can it be attributed to Legion Condor due to German type construction, I mean the pin, or it could be worn by any Spanish pilot of Franco Air Force?

Your comments will be much appreciated.

    Constantine.

I've never seen one like this but I do like it. Those type of pins are usually associated with German pilots in the Condor Legion. here are my wings of Spanish origin.

The simplified eagle is reminiscent of the 1938 Spanish model which is painted not enamel

I have absolutely no experience with these at all so please forgive me
if I'm speaking out of line here but my first thought when I saw these
wings was that the pin reminds me a lot of the pin used on some 1957 Ek1s.

    just my uneducated observance.

Aldo, thank you very much for your reply. Actually, before starting these threads, I had studied all your messages, page after page. It is amazing work you have done in researches and collecting of Spanish Civil War. If you don't mind, I put a question about another Franco Era patriotic badge in your thread.

Chopperman, thank you for you comment. That was my idea. As far as I kno, very many, if not the most German rewards from WWI and WWII have same fastening pins. I have also seen a couple of German made Legion Condor pilot wings with similar fastening system.
