Great photos.
Two years ago I had the pleasure of seeing the first three tanks in your thread. The second Panther my son and I sat in for quite some time examining what was left of the interior and, I have to admit, pretending to load and fire the main gun at passing cars
The King Tiger that sits outside the museum is fantastic. The gouges in the front plate amazed my son and we spent 20 minutes discussing how on earth the tank had been disabled. We finally decided the crew probably got so deafened and scared by the AP rounds bouncing off their tank that they got out and legged it.
The museum was also interesting and really annoying as, there on the wall, a relic ground dug 50cal and bazooka, both found a month or so before our visit in the local woods. DAMMIT !!! If only we'd gone sooner !!!!!!
